Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The conductors comply with the IEC 60228 standard, including Class 1 or Class 2 plain/metal-coated annealed copper, plain aluminium, or aluminium alloy, as well as Class 5 plain/metal-coated copper.
The maximum conductor temperature for Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation during normal operation is 90°C. In short-circuit conditions (5 seconds maximum duration), it can withstand up to 250°C.
We offer Thermoplastic options including Polyvinyl chloride (PVC - designations ST1 and ST2), Polyethylene (designations ST3 and ST7), and Halogen-free (designation STs), as well as Elastomeric options like Polychloroprene chlorosulfonated polyethylene (designation SE1).
Generally, XLPE insulation requires a slightly thinner nominal thickness than PVC/A for the same conductor size. For example, at a rated voltage of 0.6/1(1.2)kV, a 50 mm² conductor requires 1.0 mm of XLPE insulation compared to 1.4 mm of PVC/A insulation.
We rigorously monitor quality across four key stages: raw material inspection, in-process inspection, semi-finished product inspection, and finished product inspection. All production data is logged, and product samples are kept to ensure complete traceability.
