    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What standards do the conductors comply with?
The conductors comply with the international standard IEC 60228, which regulates plain or metal-coated annealed copper (Class 1, 2, or 5), as well as plain aluminium or aluminium alloy (Class 1 or 2).
What is the difference in maximum temperature between PVC and XLPE insulation?
Under normal operating conditions, XLPE insulation has a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C, whereas PVC insulation has a maximum of 70°C. In short-circuit conditions (up to 5 seconds), XLPE can withstand temperatures up to 250°C, compared to 140°C–160°C for PVC.
Can I customize the inner coverings and metal layers of the cables?
Yes. The construction of inner coverings, fillers, and metal layers can be customized with multiple choices depending on your specific application and project requirements.
How does insulation thickness vary by rated voltage?
For a given conductor size, the nominal insulation thickness increases as the rated voltage increases. For example, for a 50 mm² conductor, the insulation thickness for XLPE is 1.0 mm at 0.6/1 kV and increases to 2.0 mm at 1.8/3 kV.
What types of sheathing compounds do you offer?
We offer thermoplastic options including Polyvinyl chloride (ST1/ST2), Polyethylene (ST3/ST7), and Halogen-free (ST8) materials, as well as elastomeric options like Polychloroprene, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, or similar polymers (SE1).
How do you ensure the quality and traceability of your cables?
We enforce a strict four-stage inspection system (raw materials, in-process, semi-finished, and finished products). Additionally, we implement rigorous data collection protocols and retain product samples to guarantee 100% traceability for every item.
