Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The conductors are manufactured in accordance with IEC 60228. They are available in Class 1 or Class 2 plain or metal-coated annealed copper, plain aluminium or aluminium alloy, or Class 5 plain or metal-coated copper.
For Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, the maximum conductor temperature is 90°C during normal operation, and it can withstand up to 250°C during a short-circuit (with a 5-second maximum duration).
We offer both thermoplastic and elastomeric sheathing options. Thermoplastic sheaths include Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) (ST1, ST2), Polyethylene (ST3, ST7), and Halogen-free (STs). Elastomeric options include Polychloroprene chlorosulfonated polyethylene or similar polymers (SE1).
Generally, XLPE insulation has a thinner nominal profile. For instance, for a 50 mm² conductor rated at 0.6/1 kV, the nominal thickness is 1.4 mm for PVC/A compared to 1.0 mm for XLPE.
Our quality control system monitors production across four critical stages: raw material inspection, in-process inspection, semi-finished product inspection, and finished product inspection. We implement strict data collection and retain samples to ensure full traceability.
